Setting up your OLR special services module
The Special Services module in Kennel Connection lets you offer extra services through Online Reservations, with custom descriptions, pet-specific options, optional price displays, and your preferred display order. Linking each option to an existing service helps ensure it carries into appointments and invoices correctly, making booking easier for clients and reducing manual work for your team.
Special Services must be added to your setup before adding them to Online Reservations. Click here for instructions.
To add to OLR, click on Online Reservations, OLR Settings, Special Services.
Click Add New and choose the service in the Linked Item column. This is an important step as it controls how the items is pulled into appointments and invoices.
Title/Description: This is the information the client sees when making an appointment and this can be anything you’d like.
Pet Type: If you have services that are only to be given to cats vs dogs, choose the pet type here. For example, if you have a service set to Dog, clients making appointments for cats will not see this service. If the service is good for any pet type, leave it blank.
Rate/Show Price: Click the box if you’d like to show the rate.
Order: Use the arrow keys to choose the display order.
