API Access

API access lets you pull data from Kennel Connection into third-party tools, helping you use your business information where you need it.

Example of some available data:

DataTypeToRetrieve (string, required): The type of data to retrieve. This is based on the ApiDataTypes enumeration in the sample code. It can be provided as a string.

• Client: Full client information. LastUpdated recommended after first pull
• Pet: Full pet information. LastUpdated recommended after first pull
• Appointment: Retrieves appointment scheduling including all services. LastUpdated recommended due to data size and potential changes
• Invoice: Retrieves invoice records for services and products.
• Receipt: Retrieves payment receipt information. Essentially, all payments including for invoices and unattached payments like receipts or prepays.
• FullFinancial: Retrieves full financial records, combining invoices, payments, service categorization, inventory types, pet details, client information, payment types, and more.
• Inventory: Retrieves products and services listing
• Employees: Retrieves all employee information. Ignores MaxRecords and lastupdated
• RunDates: Retrieves the run occupancy matrix with detailed information. Can only be gotten for 30 days at a time. Ignores MaxRecords and LastUpdated
