Tracking "No Shows" in your software

EveryoneUpdated 10/19/2026

Kennel Connection allows you to mark appointments as No Shows when a client fails to arrive for their scheduled service. Tracking no-show appointments can help you monitor attendance patterns, enforce cancellation policies, and generate reports for future review.

Mark an Appointment as a No Show

No Show status is available for:

  • Boarding
  • Daycare
  • Grooming
  • Special Services

To mark an appointment as a No Show:

  1. Open the appointment.
  2. Check the No Show box.
  3. Save the appointment.

The appointment will now be recorded as a no-show and can be included in No Show reporting.

Run the No Show Report

To view a report of no-show appointments:

  1. Open the appropriate module.
  2. Select Reports.
  3. Click No Shows.
  4. Enter your desired date range.
  5. Generate the report.

Important: For Boarding appointments, the report searches using the appointment's check-in date. If a Boarding appointment is not appearing on the report, verify that the selected date range includes the original check-in date.
