Training Setup in Kennel Connection lets you choose which training options appear when booking and set rates for one-on-one and resident training. This keeps booking focused on the services your business offers and helps staff apply consistent pricing.

Training Setup

Complete these steps before booking training appointments. Settings specific to each training type are covered in that type’s article.

Choose which training types to display

1. Click Setup > System Options > Training.
2. Under the module display options, select the training types your facility offers. Only these will appear when booking appointments.

Set training rates

You can set rates for one-on-one and resident training in one of two ways.

Option 1: Training Types (recommended if you offer more than one kind of training)

1. Click Setup > Lists > Training Types.
2. Enter the name of the training type.
3. Select whether it is used for One-on-One, Resident Training, or both.
4. Enter the price per appointment and click Save.

Option 2: Inventory rates (if you do not use Training Types)

1. Click Setup > Inventory.
2. Find Train - R (Resident) and Train - O (One-on-One).
3. Enter a retail price and click Save. This price appears on the appointment screen and the invoice.

You can also override the rate directly on the appointment screen when booking.
